Before You Begin

What the EOI Is — and Is Not

Submitting an Expression of Interest is a simple step that registers your institution's interest in engaging with ADCP. It does not constitute a financial commitment, a legal obligation, a transfer of institutional authority, or a commitment to future participation beyond the pilot period.

After receiving your EOI, the ADCP Secretariat will schedule a brief bilateral clarification call to answer any questions and confirm your participation in the pilot phase.

Why We Use Company Letterhead

We ask institutions to submit their EOI on official company letterhead rather than a standard form. This approach:

  • Signals institutional seriousness and commitment
  • Creates a proper audit trail with official institutional branding
  • Requires no technical tools or platforms to complete
  • Is appropriate for the institutional level of this engagement
Who Should Submit
  • – National dairy associations
  • – National dairy boards or equivalent apex institutions
  • – Apex dairy institutions formally recognised at national level
  • – Designated public dairy authorities (in countries without formal associations)
EOI Letterhead Guide

Your EOI letter should be written on official institutional letterhead and include the following sections in order:

1. Addressee
Addressed to: The ADCP Secretariat, African Dairy Competitiveness Program
2. Institution Details
Full official name of your institution, country, and legal registration status
3. Institutional Focal Point
Full name, official title, email address and phone number of your designated representative
4. Areas of Interest
Which ADCP pillars are most relevant: Dairy market intelligence / Policy & trade coordination / Peer learning / Institutional development
5. Brief Context (Optional)
Any relevant context about your institution, current priorities, or specific questions for the Secretariat
6. Authorised Signature
Signed by the head of institution or authorised representative, with name, title and date
